Weapons Charge, Thefts: Darien Cops
A Darien man was wanted on a charge of disarming an officer, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
Disarming officer
- Daniel Dorsey, 64, of Darien, was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Saturday on a Will County warrant related to charges involving weapons and disarming a police officer. He was taken to Will County to be processed.
Thefts

- A red Western V-plow was stolen after noon Jan. 5 from the parking lot at the Colonial Manor maintenance building, 1102 Plainfield Road. It was valued at $7,000. The theft was reported Jan. 9.
- Suspects stole a wallet between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m. Thursday from a car at Walmart, 2189 75th St. The loss was estimated at $35.
Obstructing identification
- Tavian Anderson, 19, of Bolingbrook, was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Jan. 11 in the 8500 block of Hemlock Lane on a charge of obstructing identification. Police were called about a suspicious car parked at the end of a driveway. An officer could smell a strong odor of marijuana and saw smoke. Anderson was unable to post bond for warrants and was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
DUI

- Lourdes Anicua-Jacobo, 33, of Plano, was arrested about 10 p.m. Thursday in the 7500 block of Cass Avenue on charges of DUI, improper lighting, speeding, improper lane usage, driving an uninsured vehicle and improper turn. Police said she was speeding 62 mph in a 40 mph zone. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
