Decatur's Road Closure 1500 Block Of West Wood Street

City Crews will be performing tree removal in the 1500 block of West Wood Street beginning Wednesday, November 20, 2019, weather permitting. This work will cause the total closure of the 1500 Block of West Wood Street between Taylor and Dennis Street, starting at 8:00 a.m., and will continue to approximately 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 20, 2019. Signs, and cones will direct traffic for East bound and West bound traffic on Wood Street. Motorists should slow down, use extreme caution and are encouraged to seek an alternate route around the work zone. For further details, please contact Dan Benscoter at 217-875-4820.
