14-Year-Old Chicago Girl Killed on Interstate 94 After SUV Loses Control
Teenager was on the way home from Great America Sunday night when she was ejected from vehicle and hit by a semi.

A teenage girl from Chicago is dead and several others injured after their SUV blew a tire on the Tri-State Tollway in Deerfield while on the way home from Great America Sunday night.
A 2002 Ford Explorer traveling east on Interstate 94 near Half Day Road struck a guardrail, causing three people to be ejected - according to the Chicago Tribune. One of the three was a 14-year-old girl who was struck by a semi and died at the scene.
Seven others were taken to hospitals. None are suffering life-threatening injuries. The semi driver was uninjured.
