2017 Illinois School Report Cards: North Shore SAT Scores

Illinois high school students took the SAT for free for the first time in 2017, and public schools on the North Shore all had composite scores above the state average, according 2017 Illinois School Report Card data released Tuesday.

The minimum SAT score to meet state college readiness standards is a combined math and reading score of 1,080, although the College Board's guidelines set 1,010 as the low end of college readiness.

The state's average composite SAT score is 1015.9, with an average score of 511.5 in reading and 504.4 in math, according to data from the College Board.
