4 Men Attempt To Force Entry Through Rear Door Of Home: Blotter
A fifth man was ringing the front doorbell at the same time: Riverwoods Blotter.
RIVERWOODS, IL — The following information comes from the Riverwoods Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

- Patsy C. Cruz, 22, of the 2700 block of Pawnee Road, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested at 4:02 a.m. Nov. 6, at Lake Cook Road and CCH Drive. She was released on $3,000 bond and assigned a court date of Dec. 8.
- Michael Wayne Miller, 40, of the 0-100 block of N. Elm Drive, Lincolnshire, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, and was arrested at 10:01 p.m. Nov. 6, at Milwaukee Avenue and Chicory Drive. He was released on a $3,000 bond and assigned a court date of Dec. 8.
- Monica Zamora, 24, of the 2900 block of Brookside Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, improper lane usage, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested at 1:57 a.m. Oct. 28 at Lake Cook and Portwine roads. She was released on a $3,000 bond and assigned a court date of Nov. 24.
- Trevor J. Boburka, 26, of the 1600 block of East Course Drive, Riverwoods, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, disregarding a traffic control device, and was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Oct. 29, at Lake Cook and Saunders roads. He was released on a $3,000 bond and assigned a court date of Nov. 24.
INCIDENTS
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
- Police responded to the 2500 block of Riverwoods Road at 9:51 a.m. Nov 5, for a report of a residential burglary. Investigation into the matter determined that the burglary had occurred at 4:45 p.m. Nov. 4. Suspects forced entry into the residence through the front door and ransacked numerous rooms throughout the house. The incident is under investigation.
- Police responded to the 0-100 block of Kingswood Lane at 5:37 p.m. Oct. 27, for a report of an attempted residential burglary that had occurred at approximately 20 minutes prior. The resident reported that an unknown male initially rang the front doorbell several times and after the resident did not answer, four males attempted to force entry through a rear door. Upon seeing that a resident was home, the suspects fled the area in a dark-colored Jeep Grand Cherokee. The incident is under investigation.
- Police responded to the 900 block of Oakhurst Lane at 5:17 p.m. Oct. 21, for a report of a residential burglary that had occurred at approximately 4 p.m. While the residents were out, four male suspects forced entry through a rear door and removed various pieces of jewelry. The suspects arrived and left in a black, newer model, Chevrolet Equinox with no front license plate. The incident is under investigation.
- Police responded to the 2700 block of Sunset Lane at 4:59 p.m. Oct. 22, for a report of a residential burglary that had occurred between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. While the residents were out, someone entered through an unsecured rear door and removed jewelry items and money. The incident is under investigation.
