LAKE COUNTY, IL — A warrant was obtained for a man accused of continuing a criminal enterprise, aggravated identity theft and money laundering, according to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
The warrant for Miguel A. Zuniga, 43, was obtained Aug. 23 in connection with an investigation in the 10100 block of West Fairbanks Avenue in Beach Park. The sheriff's weekly report lists Zuniga's address as unknown and does not indicate that he had been taken into custody.
It was among several arrests and cases recently reported by the Lake County Sheriff's Office.

Luther C. Smith Jr., 57, of Racine, Wisconsin, was arrested Aug. 21 in the 2300 block of West Beach Road in Waukegan and charged with aggravated unlawful possession of a firearm, reckless driving and attempting to flee or elude police. He was detained in the Lake County Jail and given an Aug. 27 court date.
Anthony V. Lozano, 29, of Ingleside, was arrested Aug. 21 in the 24900 block of West Crabtree Lane on a warrant for possession of child sexual abuse material. He was released pending a Sept. 22 court appearance.
Cora N. Henton, 45, of unincorporated Gurnee, was arrested Aug. 18 in the 34300 block of North Haverton Drive and charged with domestic battery and aggravated battery to a peace officer. She was detained in the Lake County Jail.
Jennyfer Nevarez-Cervantes, 27, of unincorporated Mundelein, was charged Aug. 17 with aggravated battery to a correctional officer at the Lake County Jail and remained detained there, according to the sheriff's report.
Thomas L. Coleman, 34, of North Chicago, was charged Aug. 18 with aggravated battery to a correctional officer at the Lake County Jail and remained detained.
Dulce P. Lopez, 32, of unincorporated Lake Villa, was arrested Aug. 17 in the 24900 block of West Forest Drive and charged with domestic battery. She was released pending a Sept. 4 court date.
Megan Kearney, 45, of Arlington Heights, was arrested Aug. 21 in the 400 block of Route 22 in unincorporated Barrington and charged with battery. She was released pending a Sept. 9 court appearance.
Brandon J. Johnson, 30, of Round Lake Beach, was arrested Aug. 18 near Fairfield and Hart roads in unincorporated Round Lake and charged with DUI involving alcohol and open transportation of alcohol.
Luis A. Mendoza Cailxto, 35, of Chicago, was arrested Aug. 18 near Route 137 and Waukegan Road in North Chicago and charged with DUI involving alcohol and improper transportation of cannabis.
Larry J. Ruff, 54, of Waukegan, was arrested Aug. 20 near Lewis Avenue and 33rd Street in Beach Park and charged with aggravated DUI and driving without insurance. He was detained in the Lake County Jail.
Fernado Muro Jr., 30, of Mundelein, was arrested Aug. 20 near Route 12 and Lake Cook Road in Deer Park and charged with DUI involving alcohol.
Gary A. Rieke, 23, of Wonder Lake, was arrested Aug. 20 near Route 60 and Fairfield Road in unincorporated Grayslake and charged with DUI involving alcohol.
Jennifer M. Grieco, 48, of Mundelein, was arrested Aug. 21 near Reigate Lane and Burton Court in unincorporated Lake Bluff and charged with DUI involving alcohol.
Shane M. Firnbach, 25, of McHenry, was arrested Aug. 21 near Route 12 and Old McHenry Road in unincorporated Wauconda and charged with DUI involving alcohol.
Emiliano Carlos, 23, of Waukegan, was arrested Aug. 22 near Green Bay and Kenosha roads in Beach Park and charged with DUI involving alcohol and driving without insurance.
Elijah Washington, 24, of Chicago, was arrested Aug. 23 near Routes 45 and 132 in unincorporated Lake Villa and charged with DUI involving alcohol.
Braud Pineda-Avendano, 35, of Waukegan, was arrested Aug. 17 in the 200 block of Water Street on a DuPage County burglary warrant.
Matthew J. Jackson, 25, who was listed as having no permanent address, was arrested Aug. 19 in Fox Lake on a warrant involving obstructing identification and retail theft.
Kendrick T. Lewis, 45, of Waukegan, was arrested Aug. 19 in the 2900 block of Florence Avenue on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine. He was detained in the Lake County Jail.
Heather L. Durham, 45, who was listed as having no permanent address, was arrested Aug. 19 in Beach Park on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant for possession of cocaine.
Umair A. Chaudhry, 40, of Beach Park, was arrested Aug. 20 in Waukegan on a warrant for violating an order of protection. He was detained in the Lake County Jail.
Miriam J. Argueta, 41, of Beach Park, was arrested Aug. 20 in Waukegan on a disorderly conduct warrant and released pending an Aug. 25 court appearance.
Cameron J. Touissant, 19, of Chicago, was arrested Aug. 19 near Greenwood Avenue and Sheridan Road in Waukegan and charged with unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver.
Walker R. Robinson, 40, of Trevor, Wisconsin, was charged Aug. 23 on Nippersink Lake with operating a watercraft without a passenger-for-hire license. He was released pending a branch court appearance.
