Police in Deerfield issued another citation on Wednesday to a shopper at Deerfield Square who allegedly left their dog in a car for nearly 30 minutes.
According to a Deerfield Police Department Facebook post, the dog was “hot and panting, but was rescued in time with much public support.”
The inside temperature of the car was 96.4 degrees.
