More than 40 professional artists and AP Fine Arts students will present their work during the program.

DEERFIELD, IL — Deerfield High School will open its doors to the community on Saturday, April 25, for the school's second biennial "Art Expo Open House," part of its festival of the arts. The event is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the high school and is open to the entire community.

According to the event announcement, more than 40 professional artists and AP Fine Arts students will present their work during the afternoon program. Artists and students will also demonstrate their techniques and give attendees a chance to take part in hands-on art projects.

The school described the event as a community arts showcase tied to its larger "Arts Alive" festival. The program is set to include pop-up performances throughout the day, including puppet shows, drum circles and student group performances.
