Berto Center's Transformation Will Be Complete in May

DEERFIELD, IL - The longtime Chicago Bulls practice home's transformation into an elegant event venue is nearing completion.

The grand opening date for Venue One North Shore is Wednesday, May 4, a publicist working with the venue confirmed Wednesday. While the May 4 opening event won't be open to the public, another reception to mark the transformation will be held for the public later that month. 

Venue One North Shore is an extension of the Venue One event space in downtown Chicago. It will take up 85,000 square-feet that once served as the practice home for the NBA team on Lake Cook Road in Deerfield.

The space is expected to be used for meetings, celebrations and private functions according to the Venue One North Shore website.
