Local author Susan Erickson, LCSW will celebrate the release of her debut children's picture book, Noah Finds His Light, with a free story hour at The Book Bin.
Noah Finds His Light is a gentle story for children ages 4-10 about a boy learning to trust the light that has been inside him all along. It is illustrated by Erickson's daughter, Elle. Drawing on decades of clinical work with children and families, Erickson wrote the book to help parents, teachers, and caregivers start meaningful conversations with the boys in their lives about feelings, confidence, and identity.
The event will include a read-aloud of the book, a short conversation with the author, and a book signing. Families, educators, librarians, and therapists are all welcome. Hardcover and paperback copies will be available for purchase.
