Brad Schneider Sworn in as Illinois' 10th District U.S. Congressman

The IL-10 leadership change was made official on Tuesday in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Democrat Brad Schneider was sworn-in to office as the Illinois' 10th District United States congressional representative as part of the 115th Congress on Tuesday.

“It is a true honor to represent the Tenth Congressional District, and I am humbled by the trust the voters placed in me as a voice for our communities in Washington,” Schneider, from Deerfield, wrote in a news release.

Schneider replaced Bob Dold, who served the 10th District for two non consecutive terms. This is Schneider's second non consecutive term in office.

Schneider also wrote:
