Break-in At Cannabis Dispensary Reported In Deerfield: Police
Video surveilance shows three men unsuccessfully attempting to pry open a vault in the early morning hours of Thursday at Greenhouse.

DEERFIELD, IL — Greenhouse — the first medical marijuana dispensary to open on the North Shore in 2016 — is the latest in a group of local pot shops to experience a break-in over the last week. Deerfield police tell Patch nothing was missing from the business at 151 S. Pfingsten Road, and video surveilance shows three men unsuccessfully attempting to pry open a vault.
The break-ins follow similar incidents at cannabis dispensaries in Addison, Highland Park and Chicago, as reported by the Chicago Sun-Times.
Deerfield police responded to Greenhouse at 1:50 a.m. Thursday for a burglar alarm activation. An officer found the front door propped open with a chair and and searched the interior of the business. The three suspects, who were later seen on surveillance video, were gone before the police got there.
