Businessman Likes His Chances of Bringing a Marijuana Dispensary to Highland Park

The man who would dispense medical marijuana on the North Shore likes his chances of securing a license. Brad Zerman, through Future Transactions Holdings, has filed applications with the state for locations in Highland Park and Evanston. In Highland Park, he’s one of five applicants for three Lake County licenses. In Evanston, 14 firms are vying for a single license. Zerman told the Pioneer Press his preferred Highland Park dispensary spot would be in the Skokie Highway corridor, though the city has not set zoning regulations. Zerman is in the automatic teller machine processing business as founder of Sky Processing.
