Jane Ruby, President of the League of Women Voters of Chicago, was a member of a delegation of special observers from the League of Women Voters of the U.S. to the United Nations Social and Economic Council's 70th Annual Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70). This is a 10-day conference held at the UN headquarters in New York and is the UN's largest annual gathering on gender equality and women's rights.
