Candidate Nomination Papers Available For 2023 Election In Deerfield

The last day to file nomination papers with the local election official at Deerfield Village Hall is Dec. 19.

Starting September 20, the Village of Deerfield will have candidate nomination papers available in the Clerk’s Office for circulation for the April 4, 2023, Consolidated Election. Petition forms may be picked up during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.) at Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road. Positions up for election include three Village Trustees and three Library Trustees.

Notice of Filing Period:

September 20, 2022: Petition forms may be picked up during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road.

December 12, 2022: First day to file nomination papers with the local election official located at Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

December 19, 2022: Last day to file nomination papers with the local election official located at Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

December 27, 2022: Last day to file objections to a candidate’s nomination papers with the local election official located at Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road, from 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Please note, Village Hall is closed from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. each business day. Petitions will be accepted during this time, the week of December 12-19.
