Car Hijacked At Gunpoint Near Edens Spur: Police

The Deerfield Police Department responded to the Thursday incident.

DEERFIELD, IL — A person was forced to exit their car by two men displaying a handgun at around 11:56 a.m. Thursday near the Edens Spur in the 300 block of Pgingsten Road, Deerfield, according to the Deerfield Police Department. The vehicle and the men were last seen south of Pfingsten Road toward Lake Cook Road. The person reported no injuries during the incident.

The men are described as black in their teens to early 20s, wearing dark-colored hooded sweatshirts and dark-colored blue jeans.

The Deerfield Police Department is investigating the incident and encourages anyone with information to call (847) 945-8636.
