The Center for Enriched Living Exhibits at the First Bank of Highland Park's Ruth Fell Wander Community Art Wall
An Enriched Life, showcases photos of and art created by CEL members.
The Center for Enriched Living (CEL) is displaying an art and photo exhibit, An Enriched Life, at the First Bank of Highland Park’s Ruth Fell Wander Community Art Wall. The collection includes photos of and art created by CEL members – all of which showcase a full and rich life that CEL wants for all people with developmental disabilities.
Staff, members and volunteers, including Highland Park residents Gary and Lori Kash, were on hand at the opening reception on Wednesday, November 4 to view the beautiful display. “CEL sees a future where every person with a developmental disability is an equal, valued and contributing member of the community,” says Harriet Levy, Executive Director. “We are honored to be able to share our members’ art and photos with the community.”
CEL was recently named one of twenty standout nonprofits to support this season by Chicago Magazine. The exhibit will be on display for the month of November during regular banking hours in the lobby of the First Bank of Highland Park, 1835 First Street.
