The Center for Enriched Living's 19th Annual Charity Golf Tournament Hits a Hole in One!
Expectations were Exceeded Raising More than $370,000!

The Center for Enriched Living’s (CEL) 19th Annual Charity Golf Tournament was above par, raising more than $370,000 and bringing more than 200 golfers to the Ivanhoe Club on Monday, August 11. Each year the event raises awareness about CEL, a privately funded non-profit that provides social, recreational and educational opportunities for more than 500 Chicagoland people of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities, such as autism, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy.
For the sixth year in a row, HP has been the title sponsor of the event. “Our partnership with HP has been invaluable and we are very grateful,” says Randi Frank, Director of Development at CEL. “They truly showcase their corporate values of supporting inclusion and diversity, both values that align with CEL.” Additional sponsors included Adobe, Lenovo, Lifesize, Skender, VMware and NetApp with more than 40 other sponsors.
The golf tournament provided opportunities for golfers to learn about the impact of their participation as they tested their skills with various contests throughout the day. “We know that the golfers are here to golf, but we hope that as they learn more about CEL and the opportunities provided to people with developmental disabilities they will want to make an even greater impact,” Frank continued.
