Lappe Earns Dean's List Honors At University Of Tampa

Elizabeth Lappe, of Riverwoods, earned dean's list honors at The University of Tampa for the Spring 2023 semester. Lappe is a Junior majoring in Allied Health BS. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list.

Augustana's Grafe Nominated For 'More Than I Imagined' series

Augustana College 2023 graduate Ben Grafe, a communication studies and political science double major from Deerfield, was nominated to submit a 'More Than I Imagined' profile by Dr. Meg Kunde, associate professor of communication studies. Annually, faculty nominate Augustana's seniors who have achieved remarkable academic or personal growth to appear in the college's 'More Than I Imagined' series. Read Grafe's profile at More Than I Imagined. Dr. Kunde said Grafe was in one of her classes his first semester at Augie, and has been her advisee ever since.
"I have had the privilege of watching him excel in so many different ways, making the most of his college experience," she said. "He's a deep, critical and clever thinker who approaches life with curiosity and fun. It's the type of energy society needs for positive change to happen. We can't wait to see how he continues to be a part of that change."
