Morgan Named To Wrestling Team At UW-Whitewater
Lucio Morgan, from Deerfield, who is studying Physical Education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, has earned a roster spot on the Warhawk wrestling team for the 2024-25 season. Last season, UW-Whitewater placed third in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, finished fourth at the NCAA Upper Midwest Regional tournament, and earned 22nd place at the NCAA Division III Championships. Four Warhawks qualified for the NCAA Championships and two earned All-America honors, including returning 133-pounder Dominik Mallinder. The Warhawks have finished among the top 25 teams in NCAA Division III in each of the last 10 seasons, including a national runner-up finish in 2013-14.
