Harris Named NCAC Athlete of the Week

Following his performance at Millikin University's Big Blue Spring Opener, DePauw's Wyatt Harris (Sr., Deerfield) has been selected as the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Golf Athlete of the Week. Harris shot a 75 to tie for third in the tournament that was shortened to one round due to weather. He was tied for second in the 39-player field with three birdies. The Tigers finished fourth as a team with a 321. Harris averages 79.78 over his nine rounds this season and the 75 was a season best.

Yasin Haffary Participates in Hamilton College "Alternative Spring Break"

Yasin Haffary, of Deerfield, was one of 29 Hamilton College students who participated in the college's Alternative Spring Break, from March 14 to 25. Hamilton's Alternative Spring Break (ASB) program is aimed at increasing students' awareness and concern of social issues while generating a life-long interest in community service.This year, participants traveled to Millfield, Ohio, and Sussex County, Del., to work on Habitat for Humanity projects, and to Greensboro, N.C., to work with Guilford College's Every Campus a Refuge Program that helps support the transition of refugee families.
