Criminal Sexual Abuse Arrest Made: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

ARRESTS

BATTERY

Derrick S. Sanford, 35, no permanent address, is accused of battery, and was arrested Nov. 25 at Lake County Jail. He was being held there on other charges and was assigned a court date of Jan. 9, 2025.

POSSESSION OF A FRAUDULENT ID

Jeffrey R. Tarpen, 39, of the 25600 block of W. Arcade Drive, unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of possession of a fraudulent ID, had a warrant for unlawful use of a credit card, identity theft, and was arrested Nov. 25 at Arcade Drive and W. Park Lane, unincorporated Lake Villa. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 8, 2025.

POSSESSION OF METH

Jordan Waldron, 27, of the 25600 block of W. Arcade Drive, unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of possession of meth, possession of a fraudulent ID, had a warrant for unlawful use of a credit card, identity theft, and was arrested Nov. 25 at Arcade Drive and W. Park Lane, unincorporated Lake Villa.

CRIMINAL SEXUAL ABUSE

Ignacio Tinajero Cruz, 21, of the 11300 block of W. Wadsworth Road, Beach Park, is accused of criminal sexual abuse, and was arrested Nov. 26 in the 11300 block of W. Wadsworth Road, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 13, 2025.

RETAIL THEFT

Shania S. Brown, 25, of the 3800 block of S. Wentworth Avenue, Chicago, is accused of retail theft, resisting a peace officer, and was arrested Nov. 27 in the 20500 block of N. Rand Road, Deer Park. She was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 11.

THEFT

Willie L. Wright, 53, no permanent address, had a warrant for theft, and was arrested Nov. 27 in the 39000 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of this report and was assigned a court date of Dec. 5.

VIOLATING AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Kasey W. Coble, 39, of the 38400 block of N. 4th Avenue, unincorporated Spring Grove, had a warrant for violating an order of protection, and was arrested Nov. 29 in the 36800 block of Route 59, Ingleside. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 11.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Borislav A. Borisov, 56, of Shorewood, Wisconsin, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, and was arrested Dec. 1 at St Marys and Pearson roads, Green Oaks. He was released following his arrest.
