Deerfield Farmers Market Returns On Saturdays Starting In June
The market, established in 1995, will be held once again weekly on Park Avenue.

DEERFIELD, IL — It's almost farmers market season in Deerfield. Starting June 8, the farmers market on Park Avenue (between Jewett Park Drive and Hazel Avenue), will run from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Saturday through Oct. 5.
The Deerfield Farmers Market features more than 25 vendors, offering a "diverse range of conventional and organic vegetables, fruits, fresh-cut flowers and various specialty products," according to organizers. Highlights of the market include:
- Seasonal vegetables and fruit locally grown by farmers in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin
- Organic and naturally grown vegetables and flowers
- Fresh meats, eggs, and fish
- Hand-crafted Wisconsin cheese, exceptional variety of syrups, honeys, confections, salsas, jellies, dressings, soups, sauces and spreads
- Fresh-baked breads, muffins, pies and cookies
- Delicious prepared foods, including crepes, waffles, tamales, hummus bowls, coffee and more.
- Natural bath and body products
- Homemade pet treats and products
