Deerfield Feeder Basketball Taking Home Gold

In the past 2 weeks, three 6^th grade Deerfield feeder teams won tournaments and the 7^th grade Red team also won a championship. In addition, the 5th grade White team captured the North Suburban Basketball League championship.

On February 23^rd both the Young Warrior 6^th and 7^th grade Red teams won the Deerfield, Wisconsin tournament with each team going 3-0. On the same weekend the 6^th grade White team won the Warren B Tournament also going 3-0.

This past weekend, the Young Warrior 6^th grade Black team won their division in Deerfield’s own Feeder Finale Tournament going 4-0 and the 5th grade White team faced Wilmette in the NSBL title game and won a thriller in overtime. It was the first appearance in the NSBL championship in three years for the Young Warriors.
