Edward F. Blicharski, 88, of Deerfield, passed away January 8, 2016. Beloved husband to Dee; dear brother to Evelyn Jamrozik; loving uncle to many nieces, nephews & great nieces & nephews. Preceeded in death by his parents, Frank & Alice Blicharski & his sisters, Helen Mika & Marie Pasciak. He served proudly in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper during WWII. He graduated from the University of Illinois with an Architectural degree & went on to have his own business, Edward F. Blicharski Architect. He belonged to the Chicago Society, the Polish Business Club, the Polish Art Club, the Polish Military History Society & the Polish American Engineers Association. A visitation will be held Sunday, January 10 2016 from 3-8 pm at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Road, Highland Park, IL. A funeral mass will be held Monday, January 11, 2016 10 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 770 Deerfield Road, Highland Park, IL. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles, IL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
