Irene Gruninger, 87, of Deerfield, IL passed away peacefully at her house on June 10, 2015. Devoted wife to the late Erwin; loving mother to Stephen (Anita), Kris (James) Faecke, Gregory (Cathy), Brian (Holly), Mark & the late Jeffrey; adoring grandmother to 10, beloved great grandmother to 1 and cherished mother in law to Carrie. A visitation will be held on Saturday June 13, 2015 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Road, Highland Park, IL where funeral services will be held on Sunday June 14, 2015 at 10:00 am. Interment private. Donations may be made in Irene’s name to Alzheimer’s Disease Association, 255 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
