Marilyn Darby Scholl nee Alt, of Deerfield, IL, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2016 . Beloved wife of David for 50 years; loving mother of Katherine Darby and Mark David (Linda); dearest grandmother of Hannah Kate, William Darby, Owen Fielding, Eliza Hailey and Caleb David; fond sister of Sara Roberta Alt and James Darby Alt. Marilyn was the retired founder and chairman of Scholl Communications Inc. and active in college admissions professional associations at the state and nationallevels for many years. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd, Highland Park, IL. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 724 Elder Lane, Deerfield, IL. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Northbrook, IL.
