Deerfield Police Ramp Up St. Patrick's Day DUI Enforcement

DEERFIELD, IL — "Remember to designate before you celebrate" is a mantra the Deerfield Police Department is reminding residents of as they get set for St. Patrick's Day on Thursday. Police have been conducting extra driving under the influence enforcement since last Friday and will continue to do so through this Friday.

The increased enforcement is part of the Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over and Drive High Or Get a DUI campaigns from the Illinois Department of Transportation.
