Deerfield Wrestling Tops Evanston, New Trier
Warriors will be in action next on February 7 at the Stevenson regional.

The Deerfield varsity wrestling team finished the regular season by beating the top two teams in the south division of the CSL conference. New Trier won the south division and Evanston finished second. The first meet of the night was against Evanston who is an honorable mention (HM) in the state. We were able to be beat Evanston by a score of 33-21.

The second meet of the night was against New Trier also an (HM) in the state. We were able to takedown New Trier by a score of 51-16.
The Warrior wrestlers finished with a perfect 7-0 in CSL conference duals and also handily won the CSL Conference Tournament.

The wrestlers finished the regular season with a record of 26-4 and look forward to the Regional next Saturday, February 7th at Stevenson High School.
