The Deerfield Young Warriors are the official feeder team representing Deerfield in the Northern Illinois Feeder Basketball Association. In this, its 22nd year, the program continues to offer a diversified schedule. In addition to playing all of Deerfield High School’s conference teams plus several other feeder programs in and around the northern suburbs, the Young Warriors play teams at Chicago Park Districts and Boys and Girls Clubs as well as participating in Wisconsin tournaments as indicated above. According to Lyons, this schedule as well as its coaching staff is what sets this program apart from most other feeder programs.
