Legendary Chicago Bears Coach Mike Ditka was the featured speaker for the Joan Golder

Distinguished Senior Lecture Tuesday at North Shore Senior Center.

Ditka shared his “Observations on Life,” with a capacity crowd in the Center’s Robert H. Cohn

Auditorium and signed autographs at a post-lecture reception.

The Golder Lecture, first held at the center in 1996, showcases the achievements of adults over the age of 60.

It is presented annually as a gift to the community by the Golder Family in honor of Joan Golder, President Emeritus of the North Shore Senior Center’s Board of Directors.
