Dog Last Seen at One Golf Course Found at Another

Butter, a recent Orphans of the Storm adoptee, made the trek from Briarwood Country Club in Deerfield to Sunset Valley in Highland Park.

HIGHLAND PARK, IL - Butter, the tan Shar Pei mix who was recently adopted from the Orphans of the Storm animal shelter in Riverwoods but went missing just days later, has been found.

She was spotted Tuesday at the Sunset Valley Gof Club.

A spokeswoman for Orphans of the Storm said Butter likely spent 12 days at the golf course in Highland Park.

“The community was so supportive… we all are so grateful... and relieved!,” she wrote.

Before being found at Sunset Valley, Butter was last spotted a week ago Saturday at the Briarwood Country Club in Deerfield. So she must be a fan of golf, or at least the courses when they are out of season.
