Driver Clocked At 107 In 35 MPH Zone: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

CONTEMPT OF COURT

• Angel R. Rosado, 40, of the 3900 block of W. Iowa Street, Chicago, had a warrant for contempt of court, and was arrested April 17 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $400 and a court date of June 15 was assigned.
• Ruben Hernandez, 41, of the 10800 block of W. Wadsworth Road, Beach Park, had a warrant for contempt of court, and was arrested April 20 in the 10800 block of W. Wadsworth Road, Beach Park Bond was set at $1,873.54, and a court date of April 28 was assigned.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

• Demetrius K. Fisher, 29, of the 38500 block of N. Manor Avenue, Beach Park, is accused of domestic battery, resisting arrest, and was arrested April 17 in the 38500 block of N. Manor Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of April 27 was assigned.
• Mark B. Burns, 55, of the 1600 block of 16th Street, North Chicago, is accused of aggravated domestic battery, and was arrested April 23 in the 39000 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $150,000 and a court date of May 23 was assigned.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

Ryan P. Moretti, 42, of the 26300 block of W. Blackhawk Lane, Ingleside, had a warrant out of Cook County for driving while license suspended, and was arrested April 17 in the 26300 block of W. Blackhawk Lane, Ingleside. Bond was set at $5,000 and a future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.

FLEEING TO ELUDE

Thach N. Ho, 48, of the 1200 block of Edgerton Drive, Joliet, had a warrant for fleeing to elude, and was arrested April 20 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of May 15 was assigned.

VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Denise A. Graham, 56, no permanent address, had a warrant for violation of an order of protection, and was arrested April 20 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of April 21 was assigned.

SPEEDING

Antonio Ortega, 43, of the 0-100 block of Mionske Drive, Lake Zurich, is accused of aggravated speeding (107 MPH in a 35 MPH zone), reckless driving, no insurance, and was arrested April 20 at 9th Street and Green Bay Road, Zion. Bond was set at $2,000.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Timothy Buski, 28, of the 500 block of Meadow Green Lane, Round Lake Beach, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper transportation of cannabis, and was arrested April 20 at Route 83 and Petite Lake Road, unincorporated Lake Villa. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of May 11 was assigned.
• Luis M. Castellanos, 25, of the 400 block of N. Green Bay Road, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested April 21 in the 37700 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of May 24 was assigned.

• Dawn M. Young, 48, of the 12900 block of W. Salmon Avenue, Beach Park, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, driving while license revoked, and was arrested April 22 at Green Bay and Wadsworth roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $200,000 and a court date of May 8 was assigned.

FAILURE OF SEXUAL OFFENDER TO REPORT CHANGE OF ADDRESS

A warrant was obtained for Victor M. Diaz-Rendon, 35, unknown address, for failure of sexual offender to report change of address, failure to register, on April 21 in the 3900 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $100,000 and a future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.

HOME INVASION

Christopher N. Davis, 36, of the 1200 block of 24th Place, North Chicago, had a warrant for home invasion, aggravated domestic battery, and was arrested April 21 in the 3900 block of Porett Drive, Gurnee. Bond was set at $500,000 and a court date of April 26 was assigned.
