Driver With Meth Accused Of Fleeing Police: Blotter

ARRESTS

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Kanisha L. Rainey, 28, of the 300 block Bluff Avenue, La Grange, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested May 9 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $20,000 and a court date of May 24 was assigned.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Rosalino Martinez Avitia, 51, of the 600 block of Bluff Street, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested May 9 in the 11900 block of Wadsworth Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of June 20 was assigned.
• Steven G. McClure, Jr., 37, of the 600 block of Hill Street, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, endangering the welfare of a child, failure to properly secure a child under 8, and was arrested May 14 at 34th Street and Sheridan Road, Zion. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of June 22 was assigned.
• Chelian O. Bonilla, 43, of the 3800 block of Sutherland Drive, Park City, is accused of driving under the influence, aggravated speeding (102 mph in a 55 mph zone), reckless driving, no insurance, and was arrested May 15 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of June 22 was assigned.
• Chelian O. Bonilla, 43, of the 3800 block of Sutherland Drive, Park City, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated speeding (102 mph in a 55 mph zone), reckless driving, no insurance, and was arrested May 15 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of June 22 was assigned.
• Carmeron Ayers, 25, of the 400 block of Harden Street, Antioch, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested May 15 in the 43400 block of N. Trevor Road, unincorporated Antioch. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of June 22 was assigned.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

• Angelique G. Florez-Humphhrey, 30, of the 2300 block of 20th Street, Zion, had a warrant for driving while license revoked, and was arrested May 10 in the 200 block of Water Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $5,000 and a future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.
• Marcus D. Murphy, 38, of the 2300 block of Kostner Avenue, Chicago, had a warrant for driving while license suspended, and was arrested May 13 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $150,000 and a court date of May 18 was assigned.
• Ryan J. Shaputis, 20, of the 33500 block of N. Hilltop Avenue, unincorporated Antioch, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested May 13 at Stearns School Road and Hunt Club Road, Old Mill Creek. Bond was set at $1,500.

SPEEDING

Ryan P. Synder, 46, of the 17700 block of W. Winnebago Drive, unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of aggravated speeding (70 mph in a 35 mph zone), and was arrested May 11 at N. Midloathian Road and W. Courtland Street, Mundelein. Bond was set at $1,500.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METH

Janette L. Marrs, 37, of the 28200 block of Stewart Avenue, unincorporated Spring Grove, is accused of unlawful possession of meth, illegal possession of cannabis in a vehicle, fleeing to elude, and was arrested May 11 at 11th Street and Stewart Avenue, unincorporated Spring Grove. Bond was set at $250,000 and a court date of May 25 was assigned.

CONTEMPT OF COURT

Jose A. Berrios, 55, of the 1300 block of W. Crane View Court, Round Lake, is accused of contempt of court, resisting arrest, and was arrested May 12 at Lake County Courthouse. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of June 2 was assigned.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON BY A FELON

James M. Pickett, 53, of the 38100 block of Loyola Avenue, Beach Park, is accused of unlawful possession of a felon, unlawful possession of meth with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of meth, unlawful possession of oxycodone, and was arrested May 12 at Routes 41 and 173, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $150,000 and a court date of May 19 was assigned.

VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Luis Padilla-Romero, 44, of the 800 block of Prescott Avenue, Waukegan had a warrant for violation of an order of protection, and was arrested May 13 in the 300 block of W. Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $15,000 and a court date of May 25 was assigned.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Ronald J. Walsh, 58, of the 31200 block of N. Route 45, unincorporated Libertyville, is accused of disorderly conduct, and was arrested May 14 in unincorporated Libertyville. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of June 1 was assigned.

PAROLE VIOLATION

Andrew R. Ester, 22, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, had a warrant out of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for a parole violation, and was arrested May 15 in the 38700 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of May 20 was assigned.
