Drunken Driver Leaves Accident Scene: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

- Pankaj K. Diwaidi, 39, of the 9100 block of W. Terrace Drive, Niles, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested May 19 at Route 22 and Heritage Lane, Long Grove. He was released and assigned a court date of June 25.
- Ophelia L. Nelson, 46, of the 38400 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, had a warrant for DUI, and was arrested May 19 in the 38400 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. She was released and assigned a court date of June 27.
- Shaun Stewart Cutright, 30, of the 2400 block of Olivia Court, Wauconda, is accused of DUI alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested May 23 at Harmony and Gilmer roads, Volvo. He was released and assigned a court date of June 18.
- Samuel Gomez-Patlan, 56, of the 2900 block of Enoch Avenue, Zion, is accused of DUI alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, no driver's license, and was arrested May 24 at 33rd Avenue and N. Lewis Avenue, unincorporated Zion. He was released and assigned a court date of July 2.
- Jonathan Rosales, 22, of the 900 block of Sioux Drive, Round Lake Heights, is accused of DUI alcohol, reckless driving, violating the Concealed Carry Act, and was arrested May 24 at Green Bay and Kenosha Road, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of July 9.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Roman L. Furman, 38, of the 200 block of W. Water Street, Waukegan, is accused of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and was arrested May 21 in the 200 block of W. Water Street, Waukegan. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report. A court date of June 10 was assigned.

BURGLARY
David W. Smallwood, 45, of the 36200 block of N. Eagle Court, Ingleside, had a warrant out of Saline County for burglary, and was arrested May 21 in the 38400 block of N. Columbia Bay Drive, unincorporated Lake Villa. A future court date in Saline County was to be determined at the time of the report.
RETAIL THEFT
- David M. Hoff, 60, of the 12100 block of Yorkhouse Road, Beach Park, had a warrant for retail theft, and was arrested May 21 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of June 12.
- Ricardo Rogers, 24, of the 37100 block of N. Dilleys Road, unincorporated Gurnee, had a warrant for retail theft, and was arrested May 22 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of June 25.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
Ivan O. Flores-Sanchez, 32, of the 100 block of Rainbow Road, North Barrington, is accused of aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, and was arrested May 22 in the 100 block of N. Rainbow Road, North Barrington. He was released and assigned a court date of June 25.
TRESPASSING
Arturo Castro, 38, of the 200 block of Orchard Place, Fox Lake, had a warrant out of McHenry County for trespassing, and was arrested May 22 in the 35500 block of N. Wilson Road, Ingleside. A future court date in McHenry Count was to be determined at the time of the report.
AGGRAVATED BATTERY WITH A DEADLY WEAPON
William K. Durham, 49, of the 41500 block of Washington Street, Waukegan, had a warrant for aggravated domestic battery, aggravated battery with a weapon, and was arrested May 23 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of May 29.
