Drunken Driver Illegally Carries Gun: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

FORGERY

Joshua L. Rosendahl, 25, of the 35200 block of N. Edgewater Lane, Ingleside, had a warrant for forgery, and was arrested Dec. 25 in the 35200 block of Edgewater Lane, Ingleside. He was released and was assigned a court date of Jan. 25, 2024.

FLEEING AND ELUDING

Whitney L. Jones, 30, of the 2700 block of Lydia Street, Waukegan, is accused of aggravated fleeing and eluding, driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated speeding (93 MPH in a 55 MPH zone), open transportation of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Dec. 25 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. She was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 25, 2024.

IDENTITY THEFT

Kristin A. Siminak, 36, of the 26000 block of W. Lakeview Avenue, Ingleside, had a warrant for identity theft, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested Dec. 26 in the 38900 block of N. Green Bay Road, Beach Park. She was released and was assigned a court date of Jan. 30, 2024.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Veronica Gallegos, 44, of the 18300 block of W. Gages Lake Road, unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of a driving under the influence of alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, no driver's license, and was arrested Dec. 26 at Gages Lake Road and Greentree Road, unincorporated Grayslake. She was released and was assigned a court date of Feb. 21, 2024.
• David L. Bernatchez, 57, of the 200 block of Pebble Creek Drive, Tower Lakes, is accused of DUI alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Dec. 26 at Pebble Creed Drive and Indian Creek Trail, Tower Lakes. He was released and was assigned a court date of Feb. 7, 2024.
• Irvin A. Castillo-Lopez, 31, of the 3900 block of Sedge Street, Zion, is accused of DUI alcohol, no driver's license, no insurance, and was arrested Dec. 30 at Green Bay Road and Adelaide Avenue, Beach Park. He was released and was assigned a court date of Jan. 31, 2024.
• Mario Benitez-Mendez, 59, of the 300 block of S. Elmwood Drive, Waukegan, is accused of DUI alcohol, driving while license revoked, no insurance, and was arrested Dec. 30 at Sheridan and Blanchard roads, Beach Park. He was released and was assigned a court date of Feb. 7, 2024.
• Dianna M. Ford, 35, of the 1600 block of Sunset Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of aggravated DUI, carrying a firearm while under the influence, and was arrested Dec. 31 at Lewis and Sunset avenues, Waukegan. She was being detained at the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and was assigned a court date of Jan. 2, 2024.

Donald Heintz, 25, of the 500 block of Mann Place, Elgin, is accused of aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, and was arrested Dec. 27 in the 37000 block of Route 83, unincorporated Lake Villa. He was released and was assigned a court date of Jan. 10, 2024.

VIOLATION OF PRE-TRAIL RELEASE

Robert E. Harding, 73, of the 38600 block of N. Miller Road, unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of violation of pre-trail release, and was arrested Dec. 27 in the 38600 block of N. Miller Road, unincorporated Lake Villa. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail at the time of this report and was assigned a court date of Jan. 24, 2024.
