DUI, Speeding Arrests Made: Riverwoods PD Blotter

A Chicago man was also charged with having an open container of alcohol when he was arrested, according to police.

RIVERWOODS, IL — The following information comes from the Riverwoods Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police.   • Volodymyr Kurysh, 39, of the 5300 block of Chester Avenue, Chicago, is accused of speeding, driving under the influence, and was arrested at 12:52 a.m. March 2, on Lake Cook Road near Portwine Road. He was released and assigned a court date of April. 10.
  • Rachel Emily Meltser, 20, of the 1900 block of Strenger Lane, Riverwoods, is accused of speeding, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 12:13 a.m. Jan. 10, on Riverwoods Road near Indian Trail. She was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 13.
  • Diante R. Williams, 35, of the 6700 block of S. Paxton Avenue, Chicago, is accused of speeding, open transportation of alcohol, DUI alcohol, and was arrested at 10:24 p.m. Jan. 3, on Deerfield Road and Parkway North Drive. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 13.
