The fourth and final roll call is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, at South Park, 1421 Hackberry Road.Previous Community Roll Call events were held in different parks throughout town each month during the summer. According to a news release, at the start of each tour of duty, police officers report for a roll call briefing. The meeting is held to share information from one shift to the next and consists of an overview of emerging trends and calls for service from the prior 24 hours. The issues may include traffic or crime trends. Residents and families are encouraged to attend Community Roll Call to learn important crime prevention information, safety tips, and meet the patrol officers who serve their community.
