Gertrude Elizabeth Krase, nee Sage, 94, of Deerfield, died Monday. She was born November 8, 1918.
She was the devoted wife of the late Elmer Krase; loving mother of Sharon (the late Michael) Cromie, Jeffery (Mary), Daniel and the late Frederick (Geraldine).

Krase was also the beloved grandmother of Deborah (Michael) Hutchison, Michael (Margaret) Coit, Steven (Angelica) Coit, Frederick (Jody), Kelly, Christopher “Kip”, Kimberly (Michael) Jarrouj, Jessica (Andrew) Nicholson and Rebecca as well as the cherished great-grandmother of 13 great-grandchildren.
Krase was also the dear sister of Vivian Morey and treasured aunt of many nieces and nephews.

A chapel service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E. Euclid Rd., Arlington Heights.
