Two Deerfield residents part of team looking to operate on Pfingsten Road.

A medical marijuana dispensary company with two Deerfield residents on its board hopes to open a facility in the village by the end of the year.

Mitchell Kahn and Matthew Darin - both of Deerfield - teamed with David Brown of a Chicago law firm to form the board of directors for Greenhouse Group, LLC - which has filed an application to operate their business at 151 Pfingsten Road, according to the Deerfield Review.

The group will present an initial plan to the village’s plan commission on Thursday, April 23.
