Hiring Partial Special Census Crew Leaders, Clerical Staff and Enumerators
Village of Deerfield hiring full-time and part-time positions for partial special census

The Village of Deerfield, Illinois seeks applications for the positions of Crew Leader, Clerical Staff, and Enumerator for a Partial Special Census to be conducted beginning in late January 2016, at the AMLI, 1525 Lake Cook Road, and Woodview, 15 Parkway North, apartment households. Selected applicants will be contacted just prior to the Partial Special Census to take a job-related test to further determine suitability for Census employment. The job description fact sheet and application also includes information about identification documents you need to bring to the testing session. If selected, applicants will be invited to attend a 4-day training class and then given a work assignment that lasts approximately 2 to 4 weeks.Enumerators will visit AMLI and Woodview households and collect a few facts about each member such as name, age, and relationship to the householder. Special Requirements
At least 18 years old, must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle available for their use, should have the ability to hear responses and to read questionnaires, should be able to work several hours a day (a minimum of 25 hours a week, with a preference of 40 hours per week), which often includes a lot of walking and climbing stairs, should be available for day, evening and weekend work, as needed, and should be available to attend a four-day training session.
