Holiday Art Market, Open House At Ryerson Woods

The unique, free event is taking place Saturday and Sunday at the Brushwood Center.

DEERFIELD, IL - From The Brushwood Center: Brushwood Center celebrates the season with a nature-themed art market and open house. This unique event, set deep in the Edward L. Ryerson Conservation Area, embraces the past and present of Brushwood, the historic home of Edward L. Ryerson. Find original handmade gifts (35+ artists), enjoy our current gallery exhibition of the work of our botanical artists, and of our veteran’s At Ease photography class. Meet children’s author Anne Grall Reichel when she reads The United Forest of Kind, take a luminary hike through Ryerson Woods (led in English and Spanish) and enjoy refreshments and live music.

This program is presented in partnership with the Lake County Forest Preserves and Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center. For a full schedule of events please visit www.brushwoodcenter.org or call Brushwood Center at 224-633-2424.
