LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

OBSTRUCTING IDENTIFICATION

George H. Tieman, 29, of the 1400 block of N. East End Avenue, Round Lake Beach, had a warrant for obstructing identification, and was arrested Nov. 27 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 8, 2024.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM

Miguel J. Garcia, 37, of the 1100 block of Massena Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of unlawful possession of a firearm, and was arrested Nov. 27 at Blanchard Road and Northern Avenue, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 10, 2024.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

• Rebecca J. Anderson, 24, of the 4000 block of W. Kane Avenue, McHenry, is accused of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, obstructing identification, driving while license revoked, and was arrested Nov. 27 in the 0-100 block of Rollins Road, Fox Lake. She was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 21.
• Sergio C. Vargas, 30, of the 1200 block of Cedarwood Circle, Round Lake Heights, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested Dec. 3 in the 35400 block of N. Fairfield Road, unincorporated Round Lake. He was released and a future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.

RESISTING A PEACE OFFICER

Malcolm M. Williams, 29, of the 4300 block of W. Crystal Street, Chicago, had a warrant for resisting a peace officer and was arrested Nov. 28 in the 1700 block of N. Nicole Avenue, Round Lake Beach. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 10, 2024.

BATTERY

David P. Neese, 29, no permanent address, had a warrant for battery, and was arrested Nov. 28 at Route 12 and Case Road, Volo. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 11, 2024.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Eric Lopez, 19, of the 38700 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, had a warrant for driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Jan. 30 at Sheridan Road and Beach Road, Beach Park. He is being detained at the Lake County Jail and was assigned a court date of Jan. 12, 2024.
• Daniel P. Meagher, 28, of the 0-100 block of Harvard Lane, Hawthorn Woods, is accused of DUI alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested Dec. 2 at Route 53 and Shiloh Drive, Long Grove. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 3, 2024.
• Roy R. Monotoya-Medina, 23, of the 1000 block of Cummings Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of DUI alcohol, reckless driving, no insurance, and was arrested Dec. 2 in the 37000 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 4, 2024.
• Erinyanna L. Leonard, 28, of the 1600 block of N. Milwaukee Avenue, Liberyville, is accused of DUI alcohol, driving while license revoked, open transportation of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Dec. 2 at Route 21 and Gages Lake Road, unincorporated Gurnee. She was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 10, 2024.

HOME INVASION

Daniel J. Keefe, 32, of the 16100 block of W. Arlington Drive, unincorporated Libertyville, is accused of home invasion, attempted criminal sexual assault, domestic battery, and was arrested Nov. 30 in the 16100 block of W. Arlington Drive. He is being detained in Lake County Jail and was assigned a court date of Dec. 7.
