Indiana Man Nabbed On Battery Warrant: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

ARRESTS

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

A warrant was obtained for Jaston T. Johnson, 39, of the 2100 block of 11th Street, Winthrop Harbor, for residential burglary on March 6 in the 37000 block of N. Shirley Drive, unincorporated Gurnee. Bond was set at $200,000 and a future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Juan Carlos Sosa-Blas, 38, of the 2000 block of Herbert Street, Waukegan, had a warrant for aggravated driving under the influence, and was arrested March 6 at Yorkhouse Road and Metropolitan Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of March 14 was assigned.
• Luis R. Nazario, 52, of the 13400 block of W. Nemesis Avenue, unincorporated Gurnee, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested March 10 at Washington Street and Hainesville Road, Round Lake Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of April 26 was assigned.
• Fernando Martinez, 51, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, no insurance, and was arrested March 10 at 29th Street and Green Bay Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of April 5 was assigned.
• Sammy W. Grabarski, III, 28, of Bristol, Wisconsin, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated speeding (85 mph in a 50 mph zone), and was arrested March 12 at Route 173 and Kilbourne Road, Wadsworth.
• Khadijah R. Burt, 28, of the 300 block of Hickory Street, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, and was arrested March 12 at Sheridan and Wadsworth roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of April 26 was assigned.

THEFT

Timothy L. Jackson, 51, no permanent address, had a warrant for theft and was arrested March 7 in the 1800 block of Grand Avenue, Waukegan. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of March 15 was assigned.

VIOLATION OF A COURT ORDER

Robert J. Bane, 41, of the 4400 block of Elmleaf Drive, McHenry, is accused of violation of a court order, and was arrested March 7 at Grass Lake and State Park Road, unincorporated Spring Grove. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of March 15 was assigned.

ATTEMPTED POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Robert J. Bane, 41, of the 4400 block of Elmleaf Drive, McHenry, is accused of attempted possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested March 7 at Lake County Jail. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of March 15 was assigned.

UNLAWFUL VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Rolando Martinez, 30, of the 19700 block of W. West Shore Drive, unincorporated Mundelein, is accused of unlawful violation of an order of protection, and was arrested March 8 in the 19700 block of W. West Shore Drive, unincorporated Mundelein. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of April 21 was assigned.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

Desaray D. Moore, 21, of the 2700 block of Edina Boulevard, Zion, is accused of no driver's license, aggravated speeding (63 mph in a 35 mph zone), no insurance, failure to restrain children, and was arrested March 8 at Sheridan and Wadsworth roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $2,000.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Kelsey J. Fortman, of the 300 block of Dalton Drive, Mundelein, is accused of criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to property, and was arrested March 9 in the 32200 block of Lakeshore Drive, unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of April 12 was assigned.

RETAIL THEFT

A warrant was obtained for Kelley S. Mendoza, 27, of the 3600 block of N. Mozart Street, Chicago. for retail theft on March 10 int he 2700 block of Lake Cook Road, Long Grove. Bond was set at $25,000 and a future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.

BURGLARY

• A warrant was obtained for Eric G. Mata, 30, of the 700 block of 10th Street, Waukegan, on March 10 in the 33100 block of N. Lake Shore Drive, unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $50,000 and a future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.
• Angel Valencia, 21, of the 600 block of Pleasure Drive, Mundelein, had a warrant for burglary, and was arrested March 10 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of March 14 was assigned.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

• Michael B. Flannery, 46, of the 38100 block of N. State Park Road, unincorporated Spring Grove, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested March 10 in the 38100 block of N. State Park Road, unincorporated Spring Grove. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of March 15 was assigned.
• David A. Kochenash, 35, of the 34300 block of N. Tangueray Drive, unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested March 11 in the 34300 block of N. Tangueray Drive, unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date of March 29 was assigned.
• Leantae Johnson, 30 of the 4400 block of Lexington Street, Chicago, had a warrant out of Indianapolis, Indiana, for domestic battery, and was arrested March 12 at Route 134 and Wilson Road, Ingleside. Bond was set at $250,000 and a court date of March 24 was assigned.
