“I didn’t know anything about the game,” Kedjidjian said. “I took classes and got certified.” Now he helps run the organization for Deerfield and Highland Park. He also enjoys it himself. “I like being a part of it. The draw is the kids.”
Kedjidjian’s involvement is not limited to sports. He was part of the Caucus until his wife, Cathy, became the District’s coordinator of communications and community relations.

It was the Village’s values that drew them here more than 15 years ago. “It made good sense,” he said of the move. “There are exceptional schools and a clean environment. That’s what attracted us to the town.”
When it comes to his favorite events in Deerfield, Kedjidjian thinks the Fourth of July Parade brings out the best in the community. “It brings everyone together,” he said.
