Kohl Children's Museum Traveling Exhibit Makes its Way to the Winnetka Community House

Special activities planned to commemorate this once in a lifetime event

This November, Winnetka Community House welcomes the Kohl Children’s Museum’s exceptional traveling exhibit: Chagall for Children. With 14 multi-sensory stations, each incorporating a high-quality reproduction of Chagall’s most famous works, the exhibit offers hands-on exploration of one of the most beloved artists of the twentieth century, Marc Chagall.

The series of hands‑on activities encourages visiting children, ages 2-12, and their families, to explore and work with specific art principles such as color, composition, light and texture. Many stations are accompanied with audio descriptions, highlighting information about the artwork upon which the interactive experience is based. Below are several events that are open to the public in celebration of Chagall for Children.
