Man Accused Of Possessing Child Sex Abuse Material: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

RECKLESS DRIVING

Abigail C. Salas, 23, of the 2300 block of Kemble Avenue, North Chicago, is accused of reckless driving, speeding 35+ over the limit, and was arrested March 23 at N. Sheridan and W. Beach roads, Beach Park. She was released following her arrest.

POSSESSION OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIAL

Nicholas J. Gillespie, 43, of the 600 block of Tallgrass Lane, Lake Villa, is accused of possession of child sexual abuse material, and was arrested March 25 in the 600 block of Tallgrass Lane, Lake Villa. He was being detained at the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and assigned a court date of April 22.

FILING A FALSE POLICE REPORT

Stuart M. Lowrey, 35, of the 42400 block of Poplar Street, Antioch, is accused of filing a false police report, and was arrested March 25 in the 400 block of Orchard Street, Antioch. He was released and assigned a court date of May 13.

UNLAWFUL RESTRAINT

Grant D. Manning, 36, of the 1100 block of N. Milwaukee Avenue, Vernon Hills, is accused of unlawful restraint, aggravated assault of a police officer, damage to property, resisting arrest, and was arrested March 25 in the 1900 block of Kenton Lane, Green Oaks. He was being detained at the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and assigned a court date of April 8.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF CANNABIS

Dmitry Bogatiryov, 52, of the 3200 block of Carriageway Drive, Arlington Heights, is accused of unlawful possession of cannabis (more than 2,000 grams), unlawful possession of ammunition and was arrested March 26 in the 26600 block of Kenwood Court, Mundelein. He was being detained in the Lake County Jail for other charges at the time of the report and assigned a court date of April 22.

INDIRECT CRIMINAL CONTEMPT

Sarah M. Hockenberry, 40, of the 18000 block of W. Lindenwood Drive, Grayslake, is accused of indirect criminal contempt, and was arrested March 26 in the 18000 block of Lindenwood Drive, Grayslake. She was released and assigned a court date of April 27.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED

Marquis Mathews, 37, of the 1000 block of Ridgeland Avenue, Waukegan, had a warrant for driving while license revoked, and was arrested March 26 in the 300 block of S. Greenleaf, Park City. He was released and assigned a court date of April 27.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Rock T. Sharon, 57, of the 25000 block of W. Pleasant View Avenue, Wauconda, had a warrant for disorderly conduct, and was arrested March 27 in the 25000 block of W. Pleasant View Avenue, Wauconda. He was released and assigned a court date of April 16.

VIOLATION OF PRE-TRIAL CONDITIONS

Adleigh M. Hall, 22, of the 14600 block of W. Kaiser Road, Wadsworth, is accused of violation of pre-trial conditions, and was arrested March 27 in the 14600 block of W. Kaiser Road, Wadsworth. She was released and assigned a court date of April 2.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Heladio F. Flores, 28, of the 25500 block of N. Gilmer Road, Mundelein, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested March 27 in the 25500 block of N. Gilmer Road, Mundelein. Flores was released and assigned a court date of April 22.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Vanessa Sanchez, 25, of the 36700 block of N. Grandwood Drive, unincorporated Gurnee, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested March 28 at Wilson and Big Hollow roads, Ingleside. She was released and assigned a court date of May 6.
• Carlos Ramirez, 26, of the 2200 block of Ottawa Road, Waukegan, is accused of DUI drugs/alcohol, attempted possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested March 28 at Amstutz Highway and Greenwood Avenue, Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of April 22.

PAROLE VIOLATION

Harald T. Hampton, 35, of Racine, Wisconsin, had a warrant from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for a parole violation, new charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, improper transportation of cannabis, and was arrested March 29 in the 45000 block of Route 173, Zion. A future court date in Wisconsin was to be determined at the time of the report.
