DISORDERLY CONDUCT

  • Billy R. Washington, 48, of the 38200 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of disorderly conduct, and was arrested July 31 in the 38200 block of Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Aug. 30 was assigned.
  • Daniel J. Varsek, 40, of the 33300 block of N. Lake Shore Drive, unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of disorderly conduct, and was arrested Aug. 4 in the 33300 block of N. Lake Shore Drive, unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of Sept. 6 was assigned.
  • Deonte D. Toliver, 37, of the 3700 block of S. Indiana Avenue, Chicago, is accused of disorderly conduct, obstructing a peace officer, and was arrested Aug. 6 in the 24600 block of W. Clinton Avenue, unincorporated Round Lake. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of Oct. 9 was assigned.

FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A SEXUAL OFFENDER

Kevin Specht, 29, no permanent address, is accused of failure to register as a sexual offender, and was arrested Aug. 1 at 38400 block of N. 4th Street, unincorporated Spring Grove. Bond was set at $150,000. A future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO GOVERNMENT SUPPORTED PROPERTY

  • Scott D. Hernandez, 38, of the 31000 block of 21st Street, North Chicago, is accused of criminal damage to government supported property, and was arrested Aug. 1 at Lake County Jail. There was no bond as he was being held on other charges, and a court date of Aug. 29 was assigned.
  • Demazjae Neal, 18, of the 1400 block of Hervey Avenue, North Chicago, is accused of criminal damage to state supported property, and was arrested Aug. 4 at the Lake County Jail. There was no bond as he was being held on other charges. A court date of Aug. 23 was assigned.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

  • Theresa M. Buczkowski, 63, of the 12500 block of W. Dorothy Street, Beach Park, is accused of domestic battery, aggravated assault with a weapon, and was arrested Aug. 1 in the 12500 block of W. Dorothy Street, Beach Park. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Aug. 16 was assigned.
  • Michael J. Del Favero, 35, of the 23900 block of W. Meadow Lane, unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of domestic battery, resisting a peace officer, criminal damage to property, and was arrested Aug. 2 in the 23900 block of W. Meadow Lane, unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Aug. 14 was assigned.

Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $250,000 and a court date of Aug. 28 was assigned.
  • Bernaldino Vara, 49, of the 2300 block of Parkway Drive, Waukegan, is accused of DUI alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 2 at Route 173 and Hunt Club Road, Old Mill Creek. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 6 was assigned.
  • Ivan Diaz-Alvardo, 33, of the 17300 block of W. Maple Lane, unincorporated Gurnee, is accused of DUI alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 4 at Wadsworth and Sheridan roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 6 was assigned.
  • Jesus A. Hinojoza-Ayala, 38, of the 2000 block of Horeb Avenue, Zion, is accused of DUI alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 5 in the 37700 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 13 was assigned.
  • Veronica Bustamante, 52, of the 31600 block of N. Almond Road, unincorporated Libertyville, is accused of DUI alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Aug. 5 at Route 41 and Buckley Road, North Chicago. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 13 was assigned.
  • Martin Tovar, 22, of the 1600 block of Juneway Terrace, Round Lake Beach, is accused of DUI alcohol, reckless driving, and was arrested Aug. 5 at Route 21 and Inverrary Lane, unincorporated Deerfield. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 13 was assigned.
  • Edwing A. Ramirez, 46, of the 1800 block of County Lane, Grayslake, is accused of DUI alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 6 at Route 120 and Hainesville Road, Hainesville. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 6 was assigned.
  • Gisselle M. Trujillo, 23, of the 26300 block of N. Green Street, unincorporated Mundelein, is accused of DUI alcohol/drugs, open transportation of alcohol, illegal transportation of cannabis, no insurance, and was arrested Aug. 6 at Route 120 and Alleghany Road, unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 20 was assigned.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Milan Hapkowskyj, 44, of the 500 block of Plumtree Lane, Antioch, is accused of possession of a controlled substance, DUI drugs, reckless driving, and was arrested Aug. 3 at Route 173 and Gregory Drive, unincorporated Antioch. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of Aug. 30 was assigned.

Laura S. Merekik, 44, of the 25300 block of W. Wayside Place, unincorporated Lake Villa, had a warrant for criminal damage to property, and was arrested Aug. 4 in the 25300 block of W. Wayside Place, unincorporated Lake Villa. Bond was set at $50,000 and future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.

RESISTING A PEACE OFFICER

Robert E. Price, Jr., 33, of the 39200 block of N. Queensbury Lane, Beach Park, is accused of resisting a peace officer, pedestrian creating hazard in roadway, and was arrested Aug. 4 at Green Bay and Wadsworth roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of Sept. 13 was assigned.

OPERATING WATERCRAFT UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL

Patrick T. Izzo, 47, of the 900 block of Marshall Drive, Des Plaines, is accused of operating watercraft under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Aug. 4 at Nippersink Lake. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of Sept. 6 was assigned.

THEFT

Antonio James R. Welch, 51, of the 1700 block of Morrow Avenue, North Chicago, had a warrant for theft, and was arrested Aug. 6 at Sheridan Road and Oak Forest Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of Aug. 30 was assigned.
