Man Possessing Drugs Resists Arrest: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter

ARRESTS

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

Jimmy W Dantzler, 28, of the 11600 block of Mequon, Wisconsin, is accused of no driver's license, no insurance, and was arrested Feb. 20 at Wadsworth Road and Northwestern Avenue, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $2,000.

RECKLESS DRIVING

Mark A. Garcia, 18, of the 12799 bock of Wakefield Drive, Beach Park, is accused of reckless driving, aggravated speeding (76 mph in a 45 mph zone), no driver's license, and was arrested Feb. 20 at Hunt Club and Stearns School roads, unincorporated Gurnee. Bond was set at $1,500.

POSSESSION OF METH

Trenton E. Cole, 26, of Salem, Wisconsin, is accused of possession of meth, possession of cocaine, resisting arrest, and was arrested Feb. 20 in the 41800 block of N. Route 41, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of March 15 was assigned.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO VEHICLE

Gregory J. Chromchak, 38, of the 26000 block of W. Lake Avenue, unincorporated Antioch, is accused of criminal trespass to vehicle, disorderly conduct, and was arrested Feb. 20 in the 37600 block of N. Terrace Lane, unincorporated Spring Grove. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of March 10 was assigned.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Michael C. Porter, 28, of the 600 block of Dordan Court, Gurnee, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, and was arrested Feb. 20 at Riverwoods and Everett roads, Mettawa. Bond was set at $3,000 and a court date of March 15 was assigned.
• Sarah J. Robinson, 28, of the 2000 block of N. Pine Street, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license revoked, no insurance, and was arrested Feb. 26 in the 38300 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $5,000 and a court date of March 22 was assigned.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

• Oscar Rostran, 44, of the 600 block of MLK Jr. Avenue, Waukegan, had a warrant for domestic battery, and was arrested Feb. 21 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of March 7 was assigned.
• Alexis L. Pregent, 38, of the 40500 block of N. Route 83, unincorporated Antioch, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Feb. 21 in the 40500 block of N. Route 83, unincorporated Antioch. Bond was set at $35,000 and a court date of March 3 was assigned.
• Jeffrey D. Nixon, 48, of the 36800 block of Stanton Point Road, Ingleside, had a warrant for domestic battery, criminal trespass to property, battery, and was arrested Feb. 21 in the 800 block of Route 59, Fox Lake. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of March 6 was assigned.
• Gregory S. Dittburner, 34, of the 39500 block of N. Dilleys Road, Wadsworth, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Feb. 21 in the 39500 block of N. Dilleys Road, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of March 10 was assigned.

• Sarah L. Rosing, 40, of the 10200 block of W. Crissy Avenue, Beach Park, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Feb. 26 in the 10200 block of W. Crissy Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $25,000 and a court date of March 7 was assigned.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED/SUSPENDED

Francisco Melendez-Mendoza, 27, of the 2500 block of Western Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving while license suspended, illegally passing an unloading school bus, and was arrested Feb. 21 at Sheridan and Wadsworth roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.

VIOLATING AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

• Gregory J. Chromchak, 38, of the 36000 block of W. Lake Avenue, unincorporated Antioch, is accused of violating an order of protection, and was arrested Feb. 21 in the 36000 block of W. Lake Avenue, unincorporated Antioch. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of March 10 was assigned.
• Vladimir Cerbadji, 33, of the 400 block of N. Newberry Court, Lake Zurich, is accused of violating an order of protection, and was arrested Feb. 24 at County and Madison streets, Waukegan. Bond was set at $500,000 and a court date of March 1 was assigned.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Leo Ray Marin, 36, of the 2700 block of Westwood Drive, Waukegan, had a warrant for criminal damage to property, and was arrested Feb. 23 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Bond was set at $50,000 and a court date of March 27 was assigned.

BATTERY

Zarriel M. Trotter, 20, of the 100 block of N. Parkside Avenue, Chicago, is accused of battery, and was arrested Feb. 23 in the 33800 block of N. Oak Street, unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of March 15 was assigned.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Ricky J. Lemus, 24, of the 21500 block of Route 120, unincorporated Round Lake, had a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested Feb. 23 in the 24500 block of Route 120, unincorporated Round Lake. Bond was set at $10,000 and a future court date in Cook County was to be determined at the time of the report.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Jorge A. Brambila, 36, of the 37500 block of N. Alpine Lane, unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of residential burglary, failure to register as an offender, and was arrested Feb. 24 in the 37000 block of N. Shirley Drive, unincorporated Gurnee. Bond was set at $275,000 and a court date of March 22 was assigned.

HARASSMENT

Giavantia Leonard, 21, of Madison, Wisconsin, had a warrant for harassment, and was arrested Feb. 24 in the 400 block of Robert V. Sabonjian, Place, Waukegan. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of March 1 was assigned.

OBTAINING LODGING WITHOUT PAYMENT

Shariff K. Miller, 44, of the 39000 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, had a warrant for obtaining lodging without payment, and was arrested Feb. 24 in the 39000 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $100,000 and a court date of March 6 was assigned.
