Man With Warrants Causes Injuries While Resisting Arrest: Lake County Sheriff's Blotter
Police said the Waukegan resident had warrants out of McHenry County for prior traffic offenses and was turned over to authorities there.
LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS
POSSESSING A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE IN A PENAL INSTITUTION

Dwayne C. Mills, 34, of the 1600 block of Luna, Chicago, is accused of possessing a controlled substance in a penal institution, and was arrested Feb. 2 at the Lake County Jail. He was being detained at the jail on other charges at the time of the arrest. A court date of March 19 was assigned.
DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

- Antonio L. Alba, 43, of the 2600 block of W. Vermont Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, and was arrested Feb. 2 at Wadsworth Road and Garnett Avenue, Beach Park. He was released following his arrest.
- Jonathan Nolasco, 27, of the 35400 block of N. Wilson Road, Ingleside, is accused of driving while license suspended, suspended registration, illegal transportation of cannabis, and was arrested Feb. 4 at Route 137 and O'Plaine Road, Green Oaks. He was released and assigned a court date of March 16.
- Juan Casarroveas, 51, of the 0-100 block of Macarthur Court, Buffalo Grove, is accused of driving while license revoked, suspended registration, no insurance, and was arrested Feb. 5 at Lake Cook and Arlington Heights roads, Buffalo Grove. He was released following his arrest.
- Jourvon D. Presley, 25, of the 3100 block of Vickie Lane, North Chicago, is accused of having a suspended license, suspended registration, and was arrested Feb. 6 at Rollins Road and Orchard Drive, Round Lake Beach. He was released following his arrest.
- Manuel Quirzo, Jr., 42, of the 21700 block of W. Sarah Drive, unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, improper use of registration, possession of drug paraphernalia, and was arrested Feb. 8 at Verona and Cremona avenues, unincorporated Lake Villa. He was released and assigned a court date of March 11.
BURGLARY
Joshua P. Hayhurst, 22, of the 41400 block of Route 83, unincorporated Antioch, had a warrant for burglary, and was arrested Feb. 3 at N. Ranch and W. Steger roads, unincorporated Grayslake. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 17.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Yadhira Gallardo, 31, of the 2500 block of Hennig Road, Hampshire, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested Feb. 3 at Route 176 and Lotus Avenue, Wauconda. Gallardo was released and assigned a court date of March 11.
CONTEMPT OF COURT
Jose Torres, 31, of the 37200 block of N. Capillo Avenue, unincorporated Lake Villa, had a warrant out of Cook County for contempt of court, and was arrested Feb. 4 at Route 45 and Washington Street, Third Lake. A future court date in Cook County was to be determined at the time of the report.
RESISTING ARREST
Franklin Matute-Raudale, 31, of the 0-100 block of S. Elmwood Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of resisting arrest, causing injury, also had warrants out of McHenry County for traffic offenses, and was arrested Feb. 6. in the 0-100 block of S. Elmwood Avenue, Waukegan. He was turned over to McHenry County on the warrant charges. A court date of Feb. 11 was assigned for the new charges.
AGGRAVATED BATTERY TO A PEACE OFFICER
Stephen T. Hood, 30, of the 600 block of Kirkwood Avenue, Winthrop Harbor, had a warrant for aggravated battery to a peace officer, unlawful possession of meth, and was arrested Feb. 6 in the 3200 block of Emmaus Avenue, Zion. He was being detained at the Lake County Jail at the time of the report and a court date of Feb. 9 was assigned.
VIOLATING AN ORDER OF PROTECTION
Micaila Kline, 22, of the 34100 block of W. Wineberry Lane, unincorporated Round Lake, had a warrant for violating an order of protection, and was arrested Feb. 6. She was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 11.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Michael D. Felker, 59, of Beach Park, is accused of disorderly conduct, domestic battery, and was arrested Feb. 6 in the 38400 block of N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 25.
NO DRIVER'S LICENSE
Cesar E. Bermudez, 23, of the 900 block of Adams Street, Waukegan, is accused of having no driver's license, open transportation of alcohol, obstructing identification, and was arrested Feb. 7 at Route 83 and Shorewood Road, Grayslake. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 25.
